  1. Dr B K DAS.
    Dr B K Das is one of India’s leading technocrats with a vast leadership experience, mainly in the country’s oil sector. For years, he had been holding top managerial positions in different oil companies in the country and has immensely contributed to their growth. Currently, he is an Emeritus Professor at Dibrugarh University, a Visiting Professor at Tezpur University and an Adviser at the Centre for Leadership Development in the Assam Administrative Staff College.
  2. Urmila Baruah
    Smt Urmila Baruah is a well known Guwahati based trainer. Prior to setting up The Human Network, a HR consultancy working in the field of capability building and HR solutions in 2010, she had worked for 20 years in different capacities in HR, Marketing and Corporate Communications in Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
  3. Dr. Usha Jhumani
    Dr. Usha Jumani is a Fellow of the IIM, Ahmedabad with specialization in Organization Development and also holds a PGDM from IIMA. She works as a management consultant and independent research scholar engaged in interventions that promote the concepts of self employment for the majority of the working population and autonomy for all which lead to building people’s organizations to be in the mainstream of development efforts. She has intensive experience in organizational development interventions for strengthening people’s organizations emerging out of voluntary efforts to deal with poverty.
  4. Dr. P. K. Jain
    Dr. P. K. Jain is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University. Dr. Jain is a graduate in commerce and law. He has done his Masters in Management from Gauhati University. His Doctoral research was in the field of Industrial Relations. Along with a long teaching and research experience for close to three decades, Dr. Jain has also served the Guwahati Stock Exchange as its Chairman. He is associated with many different educational institutions in different capacities.
  5. Smt Monidipa Borkotoki
    Smt Monidipa Borkotoki is an Assam Civil Service Cadre officer of the batch 1992. As a civil servant, she has worked in various capacities as an Administrative Officer, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer and Member Secretary Assam State Commission for Women. At present she is working as Additional Director of Assam Administrative Staff College. She has been proactive in various initiatives regarding the issues related to women & gender. She has shared her experience in different training initiatives and in different forums. Smti Borkotoki is also a creative writer and her writings have been published in different newspapers & periodicals regularly. Her short story collection has already been published.
  6. Smt Karabi Goswami
    She is presently Assistant Professor  at Assam Institute of Management since 2009. Areas of interest – Finance, Accounts, Banking , Insurance, Taxation , Project Management, Communication and self development.
  7. Sri Dipanjon Konwar
    Dipanjon Konwar, B.E., MBA, is associated since 2009 as a Visiting Faculty with the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University teaching papers related to Organisational Behaviour (O.B.), Human Resource Management (HRM), Compensation Management and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  8. Dr. Banajit Changkakaty
    Dr. Banajit Changkakaty has a wide spectrum of experience ranging from the technical world as a software developer to the corporate world with work experience as an executive, officer, branch supervisor and assistant manager in organizations of repute such as GNRC Info Tech Pvt. Ltd., HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Bajaj Alliance Life Insurance Co Ltd and NEDFI. He is presently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University providing consultancy service to both Govt & PSUs. His academic career has been outstanding. He is a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Gold Medalist from Gauhati University having scored First Class First rank in MBA. Dr. Changkakaty has also qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst and Master in Financial Analysis from ICFAI university. He has a PhD from Gauhati University for his topic on “Determinants of Capital Structure and Dynamic Adjustment towards Target Capital Structure of Indian firms”.
  9. Dr. Mukulesh Barua
    Presently Director, Assam Institute of Management he was formerly Executive Director, Royal Group of Institutions. He also served as Joint Director, Electronics Research & Development Centre of India (ER&DCI), Ministry of Information & Technology, Government of India, Kolkata before another tenure as the Principal, Royal School of Business. He also held the post of Principal, Girijananda Choudhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Guwahati after being the HOD of the Department of Business Administration GIMT and Deputy Manager in AMTRON,
  10. Dr. Sriparna B Baruah
    Dr. Sriparna B Baruah is a pioneer in introducing Management Education in North East India and is presently heading the Centre for Industrial Extension at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE). After an initial stint of 10 years with Assam Institute of Management, in 1999, Dr. Baruah joined the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) and initially she got involved with action research and promoting Entrepreneurship Education. She undertook more than 26 action research on North East India.
  11. Prof I. G. Kannan
    Dr I G Kannan has a long experience since 1961. He taught at S.V. University, Tirupathi from 1965 to 1971. From 1971 to 1975 he worked as a Research Officer in the National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad. Next he was a faculty of National Institute of Small Industry Extension Training Institute, Hyderabad. From 1980 to 1993 he served as the Dean of Studies of Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
  12. Dr. Avantika Saraf
    Dr Avantika Saraf is a Naturopathy and Yoga Physician, a medical graduate from accredited Naturopathy College under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. She is also a Post Graduate in Medicinal Plants. She is the first qualified Naturopathy and Yoga Physician of Assam. She is also a “Yoga Shiromoni” affiliated to Yoga Alliance, USA accrediting yoga teachers internationally. She takes an integrative medical approach to your health. She is a trained Acupuncturist and Chiropractor.
  13. Dr. Nirmal Kanti Bhattacharjee
    Dr. Nirmal Kanti Bhattacharjee, born in 1946, is a renowned cardiologist of the region having nearly five decades of experience in medical practice. With a brilliance shining his academic career from the very childhood, he graduated from Gauhati Medical College in 1966, standing first with honours in almost all subjects, still a University record, and was awarded the University gold medal. Subsequently he did his post-graduate studies at Calcutta and Dibrugarh again standing first in all the examinations, followed by a short course of training on echocardiography at AIIMS, New Delhi.
  14. Dr. Sangeeta Goswami
    Dr. Sangeeta Goswami is a Counselling Psychologist. She completed her graduation from Bombay University, Masters from Gauhati University, PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling from Vellore and her doctorate from Calcutta University in Applied Psychology. Dr. Sangeeta Goswami apart from running her own clinic, is the president of MIND India, Institute of Positive Mental Health & Research.
  15. Sri Hiren C Nath
    Hiren Chandra Nath is an IPS (Indian Police Service) Officer of the Assam Meghalaya Cadre 1996. He took charges from outgoing Police Commissioner Mukesh Agarwala on August 27, 2016 and presently he is the third Police Commissioner of Guwahati.
  16. Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta
    Nani Gopal Mahanta is currently Professor and Head of the department, Political Science and Director, Global Studies Centre, Gauhati University, Assam, India. His research interest includes issues of Peace and Conflict Resolution, Human Development and Security, Insurgency, Ethnicity and Identity Politics.  He was a Rotary World Peace Fellow in the University of California, Berkeley from 2002-2004. As a World Peace fellow he travelled to various parts of the world including Europe and South Asia for his internship and empirical work. Dr. Mahanta has published articles in various journals and has written a number of books and often appeared as an expert in media. Dr. Mahanta has also been a visiting fellow to International Peace Research Institute (PRIO), Norway, Oslo.
  17. Sri Luish Aind, IPS
    Sri Luish Aind is an IPS (Indian Police Service) Officer of the Assam Meghalaya cadre 2006. He is presently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) in the Guwahati Police Commissionerate.
  18. Shri Jadav Pegu
    Shri Jadav Pegu is a 1995-batch Assam Civil Service officer. His first posting was as Extra Assistant Commissioner, Kokrajhar (from 1995-1998). Notably he went on to serve in trouble-prone Kokrajhar district for a total 17 years in various capacities (Election Officer, Kokrajhar from 1999-2005, BDO, Hatidhura from 2006-2008, Circle Officer, Dotma from 2009-2012). He is presently posted as Protocol Officer in the General Administration Department, Assam Secretariat, Dispur.
  19. Dr Rajib Handique
    Dr. Rajib Handique is presently a Professor in the Department of History, Gauhati University, Assam, India. He served Dibrugarh University as an Associate Professor in the Department of History after serving as Deputy Registrar (Academic) for nine years. He also served as the Programme Coordinator of the National Service Scheme (NSS) as well as the Treasurer of the Dibrugarh University Sports Board. A Gold Medalist in History from Gauhati University, Dr. Handique did his Ph.D. on environmental history of Assam from Dibrugarh University.
  20. Shri Wasbir Hussain
    A journalist and political commentator, Shri Wasbir Hussain is Executive Director, Centre for Development and Peace Studies, Guwahatii. He is a two-time former Member of the National Security Advisory Board, Government of India. Hussain is currently Consulting Editor of Times Now TV and hosts a popular weekly English talk show on News Live channel ‘Talk Time with Wasbir Hussain’.
  21. Shri Prasanta Rajguru
    Shri Rajguru is the Executive Editor, Amar Asom, a frontline Assamese daily from Guwahati. He is a Rotary International Peace Fellow and did an International Course on Conflict Resolution at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. He is also a recipient of the MAJA KOENE Social Journalist Award 2015, initiated by CESCI (Centre for Experiencing Socio-Cultural Interaction) Foundation. The award was given to him in recognition of his vital contributions in the field of journalism and peace building in Northeast India. CESCI is an international organization based in India and Switzerland.
  22. Smt Rani Pathak Das
    Smt Rani Pathak Das is a Senior Research Associate with the Centre for Development and Peace Studies. She has been engaged in research on peace, security and development issues concerning India’s Northeast and has been writing on development and other peace and security related issues. She was honoured with the Kunjabala Devi Memorial Award for Investigative Journalism on Women's issues by The Assam Tribune group in 2011.
    A post graduate in English literature from the Gauhati University, Smt Das has several publications to her credit, including her edited book (jointly with Wasbir Hussain) The Autonomy Discourse: Ethnic Aspirations in India’s Northeast, Wordweaves India, Guwahati (2013). Currently, she is pursuing her Ph. D on Government of India’s Peace Policy in Northeast India.
  23. Shri Arunav Goswami
    Shri Arunav Goswami is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Development and Peace Studies, Guwahati. An MBA from Tezpur University, he has been engaged in research on peace, security and development issues since 2009. Some of the projects Mr Goswami has been engaged in include dynamics of extremism, situation of children and women in conflict situations, peace processes and spread of Maoism in Northeast India.
