• A three-and-half day Training of Trainers course on “Innovations in Training: Excellence in Professional Performance” was conducted by the Centre in collaboration with Competence in Motion,GIZ India, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in the AASC from 3 to 6 May 2016. 30 participants from different premier training, research and academic institutions attended the training programme.
• A 2-day workshop on ‘Innovation Lab’ was held on 3-4 October 2016. The workshop was successfully organized in collaboration with departments of Finance and Planning and Development (now Department of Transformation and Development), SDG Centre, AASC and UNDP. Resource persons from Germany were invited for conducting the Innovation Lab.
• During 2016-17, a total of 15 training programmes including one roundtable discussion and one workshop on ‘Promoting innovations in Agriculture, Health, Education and Transport’ were organised. Training on topics such as ‘Excellence in professional performance’, ‘Creativity and Innovations at workplace’, Innovations and Managing change’, Innovations and Leadership, ‘Innovations in administration and public service delivery’, ‘Assessment of Best Practices in Governance and Public Administration: Approaches and Methodologies’, ’Knowledge Management and Institutional Learning’ was undertaken.
