The Centre for Innovation and Future Studies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Innovation in Public Systems, Hyderabad for promoting and disseminating best practices in governance.
Objectives of the Center
- To capture and document elements of innovation and creativity at the grass root level.
- To assess the needs for infusion of creativity and innovations in Governance through impact studies of various projects and schemes.
- To build capacity of government functionaries through enhancement of knowledge and skills for creativity, innovations and future studies.
- To offer consultancy services to the departments of Government of Assam
- To carry out impact studies of innovations implemented in governance.
- Promoting, Documenting & Disseminating good practices in the realm of Governance.
- Foster the spirit of innovations in all Government departments and systems and among civil servants.
- Facilitate replication of various good practices prevailing in the realm of governance and administration in the context of Assam.
- Conduct workshops/seminars on case studies of best-practices on a regular basis.
