Two day training on e-Office was held at Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati on 12^th & 13^th June, 2023. The training was organized by Centre for e-Governance, Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati and is sponsored by Government of Assam.

Forty two (42) participants from various organizations of Assam Government like Directorate AIRT & SC, Directorate of Accounts and Treasury, Directorate of Fisheries, Revenue and DM, Directorate of Geology and Mining,  Directorate of Small Savings, Directorate of Audit (LF), Directorate of Training, Assam Administrative Staff College, Directorate of Information and Public Relation, Directorate of Financial Inspection, Assam Prisons Headquarters,  Registrar of Firms and Societies, Assam, Directorate of Municipal Administration, Assam, Directorate of Land Records & Survey etc, Directorate of Forensic Science, Directorate of Town and Country Planning, Department of Housing  &Urban Affairs , Municipal Administration, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Assam Institute of Research for Tribal and Schedule Caste,  Assistant Manager, AMDCL (Mines and Minerals),  Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, DME, Assam etc have attended the training.

Sessions on various topics related to e-Office like Introduction to e-Office, and its Application, FTS, e-file, Creating draft in e-office, e-signing, Conversion of Physical File to e-file etc. were taken.  Besides these an interactive session on e-Offcie, its future was also incorporated in the training. Feedback from participants was also taken in this regard.  Resource persons from NIC were invited to give theory and practical knowledge on e-Office.
